Fitness Trainers and the MSE -We will work with your fitness trainer to encourage integration of what I find in the examination into your work out plan. Repeat examinations should reveal the improvements you have made with your trainer and demonstrate overall lower risk. ______________________________________ Corporate Wellness and the MSE The MSE is designed to identify high risk areas of the body. These areas are likely to be the future source of a persons pain based on repetitive stress, overuse, poor posture, limited strength and flexibility etc. Identifying these risk areas help motivate the employee to take action and motivate the employer to intervene with the most appropriate changes in their work environment in order to minimize missed days at work, and to promote maximal productivity. ______________________________________ Cost of the MSE Out of pocket cost is $120 We accept insurance if you have a doctors script for physical therapy. ______________________________________
"Thanks so much for the assessments. I am very impressed! I think you’ve got a great thing going. We really enjoyed them and will definitely take what you’ve said to heart. " -Mindi

Musculoskeletal Examination (MSE) Created by Eric Browning, MPT, this examination is designed to give the individual specific information about their joints, muscles, movement, balance, walking patterns, spinal alignment, shoe wear, posture, and among other things, how work and recreational tasks affect their body. Secondly, the examination allows for educated and objective prediction of where you are likely to develop pain in the future based on something called "predictive risk analysis". The major body areas are assessed during the examination and a conclusive prediction is created to identify your high risk areas. We educate an individual in the appropriate types of exercise a person could engage in to lower these high risk areas. This allows us to target specifically the most important musculoskeletal deficiencies you have. Finally, the individual will leave the clinic with a detailed report showing them both in written and graphic form their current musculoskeletal status. Repeat examinations are encouraged on a 6 month to yearly basis. Components of the MSE - Objective measurements of strength and flexibility with graphic representation. - Head to toe examination of movement, posture, balance, gait, shoe wear, spinal alignment, movement patterns etc. - Predictive Risk Analysis identifying specific high risk areas where it is likely you will develop pain in the future. - Explanation and education regarding the results of the test. - Red flag screening to determine if there are non-musculoskeletal problems related to things like diabetes, heart disease etc. that would necessitate referral to the appropriate medical professional. - The examination requires one visit and takes about 75 minutes to complete.
